Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These terms ("Terms") govern your use of ReachScout ("the Service"), a software platform for finding leads and running cold email campaigns from your own Gmail account. ReachScout is operated in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You can contact us about anything in these Terms at roberthuntermedia@gmail.com.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account and for all emails sent from your connected mailbox using the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Each subscription is for one business. You may connect your own Gmail account(s); you must not connect mailboxes you are not authorised to use.
3. Subscriptions, billing and plan limits
ReachScout is sold as a monthly subscription. Current plans and allowances are shown on our pricing page: Starter (£29/month — 250 leads, 1,000 email sends), Growth (£49/month — 1,000 leads, 5,000 email sends) and Scale (£79/month — 5,000 leads, unlimited sends). We may change prices, but any change will only apply from your next billing period after we notify you.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
When you reach your plan's lead or send allowance, lead finding and sending pause until the next period or until you upgrade. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata; downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
If you cancel, your subscription (and access to the Service) continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then does not renew. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
4. Acceptable use of email sending
You may only use the Service to send email that complies with all applicable laws, including UK GDPR, PECR, and the equivalent laws of the recipients' countries (such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the US and CASL in Canada).
You must not: send unsolicited email to recipients who have no reasonable expectation of hearing from you where the law forbids it; send unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene or infringing content; send to purchased or scraped lists that were not obtained through the Service or your own legitimate prospecting; send phishing, malware or deceptive content; or misrepresent your identity or business.
Every campaign email must clearly identify you (or your business) and include a working unsubscribe link. The Service adds unsubscribe links automatically — do not remove or obscure them.
We may suspend or terminate accounts whose sending generates excessive spam complaints or bounces, whose use risks damage to email deliverability or our reputation, or which otherwise breach these Terms.
5. Your Gmail account
The Service sends emails from your Gmail account using access you grant through Google's OAuth sign-in. We only request the permissions needed to send campaign emails and read replies and bounces. Our use of that data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your connected mailbox in good standing and for complying with Google's terms for your account. Gmail applies its own daily sending limits; the Service respects those limits but is not responsible if Google restricts your account.
You can disconnect your Gmail at any time from Settings, which revokes our access immediately.
6. Leads and data you provide
You confirm that any lead data you upload or enter was lawfully obtained and that you have the right to contact those people. Leads suggested by our AI lead finder are sourced from public web data — before contacting them, you remain responsible for confirming their details and your legal basis for emailing them.
We automatically maintain a global do-not-contact list for addresses that unsubscribe or bounce; you must not attempt to bypass it.
You retain ownership of your lead and campaign data. We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics (such as typical open rates) to improve the Service.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance and issues outside our reasonable control (including Google outages) may affect availability.
Email sending depends on your connected mailbox and Google's infrastructure. Delays caused by third parties are outside our control.
Support is available by email at roberthuntermedia@gmail.com.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the Service — software, design, branding and content — belong to ReachScout or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or create derivative works from the Service.
You may not resell access to the Service or operate it on behalf of third parties under your own account. To offer ReachScout to your own customers, contact us about a partnership.
You keep all rights to your own campaign content, brand material and lead data.
9. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties that are not stated in these Terms.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost leads, damage to your sender reputation, or losses arising from emails you send using the Service.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms — including unlawful sending, spam complaints or non-payment.
You may cancel at any time from your billing settings or by emailing us. On termination, your access ends at the close of the paid period and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update these Terms or change features of the Service. If a change materially reduces your rights, we'll notify you by email or in-app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights.
